Revenue communication re. Automated Entry Processing Go Live
The Revenue have issued a communication to confirm that the new AEP system will open for business at 9.30am on Friday 1st June 2007.
The existing AEP system will close down on 31st May 2007 at 6pm.According to Revenue, it is imperative that all SADs for the 31st May are input prior to 6pm. This will enableRevenue to facilitate the processing and clearance of goods arriving between 6pm and midnight. Revenue confirm that traders cannot pre-enter SADs where the Date of Report/Conveyance Date is after 31st May. All SADs and EDEs submitted (DTI or CI) on or after 1st June must be input in the new formats.

Local Customs Offices should be contacted where the clearance of goods is required between 6pm on Thursday 31st May and and 9.30am on the 1st June.
