Botox still keeping the West smiling

Cosmetic pharmaceuticals markets worldwide are experiencing an extraordinary increase and the West of Ireland is giving them their best smile. Worldwide supply of Botox is produced in Westport Allergan plant. Allergan also makes cosmetic fillers in its Westport plant.

David Piott, chairman and chief executive of Allergan says Botox is a very complicated product to make, and its applications go beyond of 'wrinkles'. Mr. Piott also says that Allergan adds about €200 million to the local economy and Allergan's employees are high quality technical and engineering staff.
