As from Monday 15.03.2010 P&O Ferrymasters Milano will be acting as Containerships sales and booking agent for the Italian business transiting via the port of Rotterdam. All existing rates and service agreements remain valid.

Containerships link Northern Italy via Rotterdam with Helsinki, St. Petersburg and the Baltic States through frequent container rail shuttles between Rotterdam, Milan, Novara and Rome.

Mr. Sigurjon Markusson, CEO Containerships states: "P&O Ferrymasters and Containerships share the same goal of providing second-to-none door to door service to industrial customers. Through its railway container services between Italy and Western Europe P&O Ferrymasters has established a strong position in Italy and we are confident this position will contribute to increasing Containerships' market share in the trade between Northern Italy, Finland, Russia and the Baltic States".
