DSV Solutions and Panalpina newly approved GDP Passport Certified Companies

The IEA Life Sciences Ireland awards Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Passport  for the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry to DSV Solutions and Panalpina Ireland.

The GDP Passport Code was drawn up by the Life Sciences industry and the IEA, in consultation with IMB to meet the requirements as set out in the IMB’s GDP Guidelines and the requirements set out by EU Guidelines. The GDP Code will bring Ireland to the highest standard required by the highly regulated pharmaceutical and medical devices global industry.

As stated by John Whelan, CEO of the Irish Exporters Association, "the pharmaceutical, medical devices and bio- technology industry is now Irelands biggest export sector , and relies heavily on the ability of its logistics partners to safely and securely get their products to international markets. Initiatives like the IEA GDP Passport help Ireland to position itself as a leading global hub for manufacturers of pharmaceutical products and/or medical devices”.
