An upcoming event of interest in late October is Expeditors “Healthcare Logistics Seminar 2011”, to be held in the Croke Park Conference Centre on October 26th.

This is Expeditor's third year hosting this welcome event. According to Greg Lewis (Expeditors Ireland District Manager), “In these difficult times, the importance of the Healthcare Industry to Ireland's recovery cannot be overstated. Providing effective and creative logistics services, is vital in supporting our healthcare companies. Each year our aim in hosting the seminar is to address and discuss the most critical issues impacting on the logistics and supply chains of the healthcare industry in Ireland”.

 This year the seminar will address topics such as:

•    Product Protection in the Supply Chain
•    Upcoming Changes to IMB GDP Regulations
•    Protecting your Supply Chain from Counterfeit Products”.

For this year’s event, Expeditors have lined up an exceptional list of speakers, including Paula Dillon (Compliance Group), Michael Bennett (Pfizer Global Manufacturing), Stuart Forsyth (British Airways), Ben Singleton (SCA Cool Logistics), Andrew Lester (Expeditors Healthcare Manager EMAIR) and John Sandford (RP Expeditors UK and Ireland).
