2011 Events
The IEA's Annual Golf Classic took place in the Heritage Golf Resort in Killenard Co. Laois.
28 teams took part in what was for all a very enjoyable day.
The winning team on the day was Ulster Bank represented by Gerry Ennis, Gerry Reynolds, Ian Jones and Sean Gallagher who
were presented with the Tipperary Crystal Perpetual Trophy as well as individual prizes Tipperary Crystal.
In second place on a score of 87 was the Team from DAVYS represented by Gavin Murray, Aidan Donnelly. John Market and Mark Molloy.
Third place went to DSV represented by Pat Mason, Roy McKeown, Alan Legge and Jim McCabe.
Fourth place went to RA Burke represented by Pat Brennan, Glenn O'Connor, Alan Lawless and Mark Lawless.
The President's Cup was presented to Mike O'Connor by Gerry Ennnis, President of the IEA Golf Society
The Captain's Cup was presented to Mark Molloy by Billy Lynch.
The Dublin Port Company sponsored Best Gross Competition was won by Richard Molloy.
The Longest Drive and Neaest to Pin competitions which were sponsored by Curtis and Lee's and Interocean Maritime Agenices
were won by David Howell and Conor Murray.
The day was a great success and special thannks must be given to Tipperary Crystal the main sponsor of the event but also to Tipperary Water, The Jelly Bean Factory and the sponsors of individual prizes including IWT, DSV, Ulster Bank, Irish Distillers, Containerships,
Interocean, Hamburg Sud, DHL. CMA CGM and Maersk Shipping who sponsored the wine for the evening meal.
