There are several agencies from which the exporter can source the above information. There are also some that will carry out the entire research project. Enterprise Ireland grants/funding may be available for some research projects (see below). The Irish Exporters Association provides market research programmes some of which are part funded by the EC, DETE, CEBs, EI and Bord Bia, for qualifying companies. Consultants in the private sector also provide worldwide status reports on markets and companies: their fees vary considerably and should always be agreed in advance.
