The Irish Exporters Association (IEA) has linked up with the County and City Enterprise Boards in the search for the Emerging Exporter of the Year 2010, a key category in the National Export Industry Awards.
The award scheme for micro-enterprises who have successfully tackled export markets for the first time was launched today by Liam Shanahan, IEA President. Organised by the IEA in conjunction with the 35 County and City Enterprise Boards, the competition recognises the outstanding achievements and innovative activity of small businesses tackling overseas markets for the first time .The Awards search will culminate with a Gala Awards ceremony on November 25th when the Taoiseach will present the category winner, and the overall Exporter of the Year.
