The award of the GDP Passport which recognizes excellence in the provision of logistics and supply chain management services for the Life Sciences sector was presented to Michael Mc Bride general manager of Virginia International Logistics, and Ken Charman, GDP Passport manager, by John Whelan chief executive of the Irish Exporters Association (IEA), at a ceremony in the company’s premises in Cavan.
Virginia International Logistics demonstrated to the IEA Life Sciences industry panel that the company had met all the training requirements, and equipment standards to meeting the supply chain needs of the Life Sciences manufacturing sector.
On receiving the GDP Passport, Michael Mc Bride, General Manager Virginia International Logistics said, “This award is a real tribute to the Virginia Logistics team and a welcome recognition for all the hard work carried out over the past year.
